Air 自拍流出Electronics Gives over $43k to Girl Scouts NorthEast Texas

Proceeds from 2024 ALEUS Golf Tourney Support Girl Scouts STEM Program in Northeast Texas

Learning to code can be a challenging and frustrating exercise for some. Alex struggled in her coding workshop, but would raise her hand and ask questions to ensure she was on the right track. Even though the others picked up coding at a faster pace, she was not intimidated or afraid to ask for help.

While the coding took some time, she successfully coded her TI Rover to write out the letter A for her name. This workshop was available to Alex and her fellow troop members as part of the STEM Program, which focuses on developing hard and soft skills critical for STEM college and career readiness

The Texas Instruments Rover Workshop is made possible in part with support from the annual Air 自拍流出Electronics鈥 Air Classic Benefit Golf Tournament, held in partnership with TI. The Electronics team recently presented the organization with a check for $43,582 to support the program.

Erin Fischer, chief development officer of Girl Scouts Northeast Texas, thanked Air 自拍流出for its investment to ensure that girls build their confidence and competence in STEM. 鈥淲e truly appreciate all you do to build the next generation of leaders in STEM," Fischer said.

In addition to Alex鈥檚 project, other participants created programs to enable rovers to create a perfect circle, stars of different sizes and a musical using the speakers. 

The STEM ecosystem, developed around this program and the , includes corporations, universities and other nonprofit organizations. These stakeholders are passionate about building the STEM workforce pipeline in Northeast Texas to empower the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators and leaders.
