Morrisville volunteers "Dynamic Donors" in the fight against osteoporosis

From the time we are born, we are encouraged to drink milk, eat calcium-rich foods and exercise so we can grow up to be big and strong. However, as we age, our bones break down, making us susceptible to a number of ailments including bone fractures, breaks and osteoporosis.  

With approximately 10 million Americans have osteoporosis and another 44 million have low bone density, placing them at increased risk, Air 自拍流出volunteers from the ALEUS Morrisville, Penn., site joined forces with to help fund the nonprofit's . The group participated in the annual ICGMC Walk For Wellness to raise money for the program. 

In addition to walking, employees and their families donated $680 to the charity. Air 自拍流出served as a "Dynamic Donor" sponsor, making a $1,000 through Citizen at Work, the Group's global initiative to give all 67,000+ employees the opportunity to give back in their local communities.

For more than two decades, the ICGMC interdenominational coalition of 25 congregations and more than 360 trained volunteers have provided caregiving support and wellness programs that enable seniors and adults with disabilities to age safely in their homes and communities. All services and programs are offered free-of-charge without proselytization or regard to race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation or income.
